Football season started yesterday and we couldn't be more excited!!! We are ready for some cooler weather, Football Saturday and get togethers with family and friends! Nothing is better than football on TV and a house full of family and friends! We love you guys :) Oh yeah, the food, all the yummy food!!!

1st day of Dance

Mommy is a rookie . . . She had on footless tights, which is a no, no. Everone else had on light pink frilly little get ups on, Sophie wore Fuschia, she stuck out like a sore thumb!!! That's OK we are teaching individuality at a young age :) We watch the class on TV, so it was real easy to pick her out. We will be more prepared next week!!

Now that she can pull herself up, we go through it every night, here is how to play . . . Stand up in your bed, cry until someone comes in and then bounce up and down because apparently it'stime to play, get laid back down, stand back up and the cycle continues :)

Of course Sophie was way more interested in playing in the water, as always!!! She thought the farm equipment was cool for about a minute. She is just too girly!!! Boys would have had a blast here! There were tons of them running around acting like typical boys!! My little pricess (yeah, that's her new thing - I'm a princess) just didn't get it, I guess!!

Sophie is in VBS this week and has been getting her bath at naptime since she gets home so late. Instead of killing my back twice, Lily gets popped in the sink at bedtime!

Tyler's 2 1/2 Birthday

Last weekend we had two parties. Busy, but fun :) The last pic is of Sophie roasting her first marshmellow, with Uncle Jason's help of course! Both Tyler and Sophie would rather eat them out of the bag. Ah, kids, they don't know what they are missing!!!

More Pool time!!

This is Sophie's new favorite pasttime! She actually asked this morning of we could go, but we are too busy this week :( Sarah had fun too. Sophie is just a little too young to do the things Sarah wants to do, so I think she was a little bored. They love each other none the less!

Oh yeah, and check out Lily trying to crawl. Won't be long now! She'll be everywhere!!! I am just more excited about the curls :) I just have to figure out what to do with them. I don't really know curly hair that well. My hair doesn't have a lick of curl to it and Sophie's just is pretty straight also.

New Albany Pool

A very awesome pool! We went to the "Big" pool for the first time today! We all had fun! Sophie was a little intimidated by the slides and what not, but Jamison loved it! Sophie went down with some encouragement, but wasn't eager to go back. She would rather eat Cheetos! Sophie did love swimming in the adult pool with her floaties on! Lily loves the water, SHe just played and had a good time :) We will be going back for sure! Can't wait!

Fashion Statement

Sophie's world right now revolves around clothes. She "HAS" to wear a dress everyday. If you want her to wear something else (i.e. it is too cold for a dress) you have to sneak it as if there is nothing else to wear. At naptime she insists on wearing a nightgown, not the dress she had on previously, because you sleep in nightgowns (DUH!!!). Which brings us to these pictures. She woke up from her nap today and couldn't find her Daddy, who was outside doing yardwork, which upset her. So she got her rain boots (I don't know???) and opened the back door to try to find him. She did this all in the amount of time it took me to change Lily, because in the process of Sophie scraming for her Daddy, she woke Lily up from her nap! She is so independent!!! Besides, what two year old cares what they wear!! I am in trouble when this kid is a teenager, I tell you.
