As you can tell from the pictures! It seems like in the past week or so she really has been all over the place. She will come over to the end table and grab a remote (granted when we got our new box we gave her the old remote, nope not good enough, she must have ours) or the telephone, then just start running! She knows full well what she is doing, then laughs about it!! Probably doesn't help that I laugh and take pictures while it is happening though! She is climbing on EVERYTHING! She has figured out that if you push the little ride on truck Adam got her for Christmas up to the couch, then you can step on it to climb on to the couch! I walked into the living room after starting a load of laundry the other day and she was standing on the couch, and she did it again while Aaron and I were watching TV about a day later. She has figured out that if she climbs through the end table than she can excape. I was cooking about a week ago and I did not hear her for a while, I went to check on her and she was in the other room taking ornaments off the tree!!!!! Sophie and I went to the Kitchen to get her some food for luch and she was sitting right next me, as I deciding what to feed her I look over and she had got in to the cabinet and was sucking on the top of the dish soap!! I was like, how did you get yourself into dangerous situations while I sitting right next to you!?!?!? Needless to say, we have re baby proofed the house! Ah, the joys of toddlerhood . . . next step talking . . . won't that be a treat! The talking back and tantrums, what fun, can't wait!

Your story sounds so familiar! Sophie is definitely hitting toddlerhood early. I look forward to more stories of her adventures!
I hope you remembered to add locks to keep Sophie in the house! I "lost" Matt one day; I could hear him crying but he wasn't anywhere in the house - under the bed , locked in a closet, ... Drew had opened the patio door and let him out into the backyard. Matt was sitting in the snow in a diaper and t-shirt.
Be sure to install locks above child standing on chair height especially since Sophie is a climber. And, don't forget to hide the stepstool! (I remember finding Drew and Matt with a chair beside the door and a foorstool on top of that trying to reach the flip lock.)
