They say we got 20 inches. Biggest snow storm we have had in a long while! Alot of snow! Oh yeah, and of all the days for me to work I had to work during a blizzard! Took me over an hour to get home Saturday morning!!

I will post more after Sophie's party - Which might be next week some time - Aaron's family is also coming in from Chicago today, so we have a busy weekend ahead of us and I work on Monday :) I just wanted to post these two picks real fast! The look on Sophie's face when the Bird tried to feed her the ice cream is priceless!! She looks like she is going to puke! She is not a huge fan of sweets (I know, she ain't right!!!) He gave her a big 'ol spoonful of Whipped cream - She gaged!! I tried to warn him, but I don't think he heard me!!! Funny stuff!! At least she didn't puke, that would have been a diaster!! Puking on the Red Robin, now that would have been a memory!!

Mimi keeps sending me pictures to post, but Sorry Mimi, Sophie still doesn't look like me :( Neither of them do, and that is OK, I have come to terms with that!!! Watch we will have a boy next time and he will be a spitting image of me, and that will just be sad!!! Mimi looks very pretty in this picture, though :) P.S. Why did I have a mullett!!! Come on, Mom!!!

P.S. Lily has been 2 months old now for a while, I'm a slacker!! Her first doctor's appointment went well. 80th percentile for both height and weight, I told ya, she was my big girl!!! She did not enjoy her shots very well (DUH) She screamed so loud she sounded like a little girl, not a baby, poor thing :(

Space Potty!!!

I forget what it stands for . . . Columbus Ohio Science Institute??? Maybe???? Oh well, fun at the very least!! The kids had so much fun! Especially when we found the room for smaller kids. Of course my camera died so we have no pics of that!!! The water was a big hit!! We are thinking about getting a yearly pass there, they had so much fun! We will bring a change of clothes next time :)

We had another snow day yesterday! Sophie had so much fun playing in the snow with Buddy!! When Daddy got home he took her out on the sled she got for Christmas. Mommy didn't take any pics because she had enough of playing in the snow for one day!

We have been doing this for a couple of weeks now. Easier because you are bathing them at the same. Harder because to have to be bent down for so long. We prefer to do it this way because Sophie loves to take a bath with her sister . . . that is her new thing . . . my sister, is what she calls her now :)

She is my Chunky Monkey! Look at that belly and double chin :) She already weighs almost as much as Sophie did at 4 months! Sophie has been in the 25th percentile most of the time, maybe now I just have a normal sized one :)

Potty Training 101

Well, we have been forced into potty training!! Yes, I know Sophie is young to be doing this. Someone kept taking thier diapers off. Monday morning I walked into a poopy mess (to put it nicely) I kept my cool and just said that's it Sophie no more diapers we are using the potty. I will have to say that is is the hardest part of parenthood thus far (teenage years, I am sure will top this) For the last two days we have been doing what they call the "bare bottom" approach. Nothing on from the waste down. She was confined to the Dining room/Kitchen/Bathroom area for two days. She had a little TV to watch movies, books, a few toys and of course her potty chair. Yes, I thought the Doctor was crazy for telling me this also, but I tell ya, it works. After cleaning up pee a few times and reminding her constantly to use the potty, she got it. Last night she was so cute! She was trying to give Lily a high five, and she was mad that Lily didn't give her one back!! Today she was given more freedom and I let her play in the family room and play room. We also put panties on. So far today we have had only one poopy accident. She even, with out any reminders from me, pulled her panties down and peed on her own!!! The bottom pic is a chocolate smile from an M&M she got after she peed all by herself! I have two and half weeks left until I go back to work. I hope this all done by then!
